Spam spam spam, lovely spam.

But not any more. As you may know we've had a bit of a problem with spam, a couple of entries had been polluted with dozens of spam messages. To prevent this from happening again we're now using Mollom. Mollom does a couple of things, it shows captcha's when you want to register but, more subtly, Mollom also analyses what you write in the comments, if it thinks that what you are writing is spam, it will show you a captcha, which you'll have to fill out before you can post. Apart from that, Mollom also keeps a blacklist of known spammers to make double certain nothing gets through.
Does it work? Well yes.

As you can see, while the spam bots are still hammering at the gates, nothing has gotten through so far.
